Ania Janik

Medical Associate (Nurse)

Nurse Practitioner, Ania Janik holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science from Ryerson University and a Master of Science of Nursing – Acute Nurse Practitioner –Adult stream from University of Toronto and has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Ania has been a Nurse Practitioner for 12 years working in Internal Medicine for 10 years and Emergency Medicine prior to that. Ania has over 23 years of Critical care and Trauma experience, including over 14 years as a Rapid Response Team member.

Ania was involved in the Ministry of Health’s Initiative to Improve Organ and Tissue donation in Ontario.  She also helped to establish the Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care as their former Secretary.

After many years of extensive clinical experience working with patients, Ania has been fascinated with human consciousness and physical manifestations of symptoms in non ordinary states of consciousness, especially seeing the correlation between mental illness and range of chronic physical conditions. 

She is experienced in the use of Ketamine in emergency situations and now, brings her robust knowledge to wider therapeutic applications like Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to treat various conditions such as PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder.
