Welcome to our comprehensive guide on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) – a transformative journey towards healing and self-discovery. Our process is designed to ensure safety, efficacy, and meaningful outcomes for all our clients. Explore the phases below to understand the journey you’ll embark on with us.
Phase 1: Assessment and Eligibility
Pre-Assessment
• Complimentary- Educational Webinar Q and A (live and recorded), to explain our unique process in detail.
• Complimentary – Individual Eligibility Screening: A complimentary assessment to determine your safety profile for KAP.
Assessment:
• Clinical Assessments: A comprehensive, whole person assessment to understand your unique needs.
1. Psychological Health Questionnaire: We assess your psychological well-being to individualize our approach.
• Includes a pre and post assessment of current distressing symptoms + individual feedback
2. Medical Health Questionnaire: Ensuring your physical health aligns with the treatment
• Includes an in-person or on-line medical assessment + prescription
3. If needed, a Psychiatric Assessment. Our prescribers require an indication (diagnosis) for treatment
Phase 2: Pre-Journey and Journey Preperation
There is considerable preparation to safely provide you with this remarkable intervention. We are cautious and hold your safety and well being as paramount in our recommendations. Please familiarize yourself with our procedures, ask questions, and feel free to let us know any unique needs you may have to make this time transformational for you.
1. Referral to Prescriber: A medical screening for KAP eligibility and ordering prescription.
• A one-on-one in-person assessment with a medical prescriber to ensure you can safety take ketamine. Additional screening may be recommended, including bloodwork in some cases.
2. Journey Preparation: Personalized guidance in three sessions to prepare you for your transformative experience.
• Session 1: Individual Clinical Planning Session:
A one-on-one on-line session with a psychedelic therapist to:
• review your assessment results
• formulate a treatment plan for your specific goals
• learn a little about you
• additional testing may be recommended.
• Session 2: Individual Clinical Learning Session.
A one-on-one on-line session with a psychedelic therapist to:
• learn new Expanded State skills to navigate non-ordinary states of consciousness.
• learn new Self Care Skills to embody and better benefit from your journeys’ insights
• develop and fine-tune your self-directed plan
• learn a little about your barriers to progress
• Session 3: Individual Clinical Application Session.
A one-on-one on-line session with a psychedelic therapist to:
• Intention Setting – Specify what you want to change about your past
– Specify what you want for your future
• Rehearse self regulation skills
• Review Flight Instructions
Phase 3: Dose Journey & Integration
Each journey is 3 hours long, and we recommend 6 dose journey sessions. We also recommend that you take as much time off as possible to deeply attend to the transformational journey you have embarked on, to finally put to rest the impact of your past, on your present, and curate the future you want, free of the traumas of the past. Choose one of the options below that meets your needs best.
