In adults, it is often used for pain management in a controlled setting under the supervision of a medical doctor. Typically, intravenous or intramuscular Ketamine is used in medical clinics.  At our psychotherapy clinic, we use very low doses of Ketamine, in ‘psychotylic’ doses, to open up the non conscious mind, and provide access to inner blocks.  The “journey” is what you experience innerly, once under the influence of Ketamine.
